The Orlando Chapter of USA Dance, a nonprofit, community-based educational and performing arts organization, will host a fundraiser for Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

On Oct. 14, the Orlando Chapter of USA Dance will host its monthly ballroom dance with the net proceeds going to Puerto Rico and the ongoing relief efforts on the island.  This month’s theme is a “Masquerade Ball.” Costumes are encouraged. 


Beer and books? That’s one way to make the library even cooler.

This Friday, Orlando Public Library will host Booktoberfest, the annual fundraiser that supports the Friends of the Orange County Library System, the volunteer organization that supports the projects that aren’t covered by the library’s budget.
